IT SOUNDS AND SMELLS LIKE CHRISTMAS // SONGS TO REMEMBER [ENG-ESP]

Greetings dear friends and great music lovers, I hope you are having a fantastic start of the week. Welcome to a new musical journey through my blog. November is here and with it comes that beautiful melody that surrounds the Christmas season, for many this is the most anticipated and favorite month of the year and like any long wait, we have many expectations to share in this Christmas season.

Although it may seem strange to you the term sounds like Christmas, let me tell you that Christmas has its characteristic sounds and smells, for this season in different parts of the world you can hear songs, parrándones, dance music and here in my land Zulia especially the gaitas everywhere and along with it comes the nostalgia and melancholy of making that self-assessment of everything lived during these months that have elapsed in the year.

It is inevitable to listen to those songs that have accompanied you in so many moments of joy and sharing among friends and not let a few tears run down your cheeks when you realize that many of the people you love are not with you at this time, some have had to leave this earthly world and perhaps they are in a better and quiet place, but others are thousands of miles away and you can not feel their warm embraces, however, we must be grateful for having had the opportunity to meet them as expressed in the song of Great Coquivacoa in the song “Without rancor”

Although this song speaks precisely of a love breakup, I do not remember it precisely for that reason, but I focus it on the fact that sometimes we think that people are eternal and that they will always be by our side, without realizing that life is so ephemeral and volatile that today we are alive or in place and tomorrow we do not know what will happen, So I invite you, my dear reader friends, to take advantage of these Christmas holidays to deeply embrace those friends and family members who have been with us in this journey we have experienced and do not let bitterness and sadness rob you of the opportunity to live a magical Christmas.

Writing these lines for me is a challenge, I currently have half of my heart in the neighboring country, my mother and my 2 younger brothers are there and the saddest thing is that they can not come to visit us during the holidays, this has me with some nostalgia, but at the same time I think that my father is here and enjoys good health, glory to God, that I have 3 sisters here in my town and last but not least I have my life's engine my husband and my 3 great blessings who long to enjoy an unforgettable holiday and for all of them I dry my tears and I am already preparing with much enthusiasm to share a few days full of many surprises and joys.

This coming weekend we will take out our little Christmas tree and during the course of the week we will buy some Christmas details to place throughout our home, my children are excited about the Christmas atmosphere and everything that has to do with decorating with this motif, in their schools they started with activities and elaboration of Christmas resources and my little girl tells me mommy Christmas came early this year, everywhere smells like Christmas and I ask her how so my daughter? ? And that is where this song of the Cardinals of Success "Smells like Christmas" comes in perfectly.

In the streets and different stores you can hear bagpipes and Christmas music, you can feel the atmosphere of joy, everyone at school is thinking about what they are going to give us as gifts for the end of the year and this atmosphere makes us very excited mommy, these are the words of my little princess who has already dusted off her tiaras and sweater with Christmas motifs to be in the same tune. And you dear friends, do you already feel the arrival of Christmas in your homes and different spaces around you?

Saludos apreciados amigos y grandes amantes de la música, espero estén teniendo un fantástico inicio de semana. Bienvenidos a un nuevo recorrido musical por medio de mi blog. Llego el mes de noviembre y con él esa hermosa melodía que envuelve la época decembrina, para muchos este es el mes más esperado y preferido de todo el año y como toda larga espera, tenemos muchas expectativas para compartir en estas fechas navideñas.

Aunque les parezca extraño el término suena a navidad, déjenme decirle que la navidad tiene sus sonidos y olores característicos, para esta temporada en los diferentes lugares del mundo se dejan escuchar canciones, parrándones, música bailable y aquí en mi tierra zuliana muy especialmente las gaitas por donde quiera y junto a ello llega la nostalgia y la melancolía de realizar esa autoevaluación de todo lo vivido durante estos meses que han transcurrido en el año.

Es inevitable escuchar esas canciones que te han acompañado en tantos momentos de alegría y compartir entre amigos y no dejar correr unas cuantas lagrimas por tus mejillas al darte cuenta que muchas de las personas que amas no están contigo en este momento, algunos han tenido que partir de este mundo terrenal y quizás se encuentran en un lugar mejor y tranquilo, pero otros están a miles de kilómetros de distancias y no puedes sentir sus calurosos abrazos, sin embargo, debemos ser agradecidos por haber tenido la oportunidad de conocerlos como lo expresa la canción del Gran Coquivacoa en el tema “Sin rencor”

Aunque esta canción habla precisamente de una ruptura amorosa, yo no la recuerdo por ello precisamente, sino que la enfoco en que a veces pensamos que las personas son eternas y que siempre van a estar a nuestro lado, sin darnos cuenta que la vida es tan efímera y volátil que hoy estamos vivos o en lugar y mañana no sabemos qué va a suceder, por lo que los invito mis queridos amigos lectores que aprovechen estas festividades decembrinas a abrazar profundamente a esos amigos y familiares que han estado con nosotros en este transitar que hemos experimentado y no se dejen que la amargura y la tristeza les robe la oportunidad de vivir unas mágicas navidades.

Escribir estas líneas para mi es todo un reto, actualmente tengo en el vecino país la mitad de mi corazón, mi madre y mis 2 hermanos menores están allá y lo más triste es que no podrán venir a visitarnos en las festividades, esto me tiene con algo de nostalgia, pero al mismo tiempo pienso que mi padre está aquí y goza de buena salud, gloria a Dios, que tengo a 3 hermanas aquí en mi localidad y por ultimo pero no menos importante tengo a mi motor de vida mi esposo y mis 3 grandes bendiciones quienes anhelan disfrutar de unas inolvidables fiestas y por todos ellos seco mis lágrimas y ya me estoy preparando con mucho entusiasmo para compartir unos días llenos de muchas sorpresas y alegrías.

Este fin de semana que viene sacamos nuestro pequeño árbol de navidad y durante el transcurso de la semana compraremos algunos detalles navideños para colocar por todo nuestro hogar, mis niños les entusiasma el ambiente navideño y todo lo que tiene que ver con la decoración con este motivo, en sus colegios iniciaron con actividades y elaboración de recursos decembrinos y mi niña me dice mami la navidad se adelantó este año, por todos lados huele a navidad y yo le pregunto ¿cómo así hija mía? y es allí donde cala perfectamente este tema de los Cardenales del Éxito “Huele a Navidad”

Es que en las calles y diferentes comercios se deja escuchar gaitas y músicas navideñas, se siente el ambiente de alegría, todos en el colegio están pensando que nos van a dar de obsequio para el fin de año y este ambiente nos provoca mucha emoción mami, estas las palabras de mi pequeña princesa quien ya desempolvo sus diademas y suéter con motivos navideños para estar en la misma sintonía. Y ustedes queridos amigos ya sienten en sus hogares y diversos espacios de su entorno la llegada de la navidad?
