Happy new year my lovely people of afri-tunes community and everyone seeing this, I pray this year will be a year of joy for us all, God will bless the work of our hands and make us successful in all our endeavors, His divine protection will be on us and peace shall be ours.

Welcome to 2024 guys, it's my first post of the year in the community, and today for afri-tunes week 95 I'll be sharing with us a cover of a song titled "Aanu" by Gbenga Akinfenwa.
Aanu simply means mercy, I believe everyone wants to receive mercy from God, it's one of our daily prayer and I pray His mercy will not elude us.

Talking about the mercy of God, it's what has kept us till this very moment, it's not by our doing at all, not by power nor by might but by the mercy of God we aren't consumed. Recently a Governor passed away, if it was about money maybe he wouldn't have died, he has money that's even more than enough to take care of himself, but money couldn't solve the problem, some of us with good health don't really know what God has done for us, yet we keep complaining everytime about this and that, when we ought to be thanking God for life.

This a new year, virtually everyone is celebrating but some are crying as we speak, I know of someone that died on the 31st of December just few days ago, she couldn't cross over to the new year, up till now her family are in pains, when there's life there's hope, we should continue to thank and praise God everyday of our lives because that's the best gift.
From January to December God has been so faithful and that's why I'm singing this song as a means of appreciation to the Almighty God, God be praised.
