For all of you Suno AI music lovers, this issue is jam-packed with contest and challenge results, and even news about upcoming contests and challenges being held in the Suno community’s Discord.

Our latest ‘Mosh Call & Breakdown’ playlist features tracks from all the Suno users who entered our first challenge. The playlist has been enjoying a spot on the Suno front page trending playlists section since it was first released. LFG

We also released a playlist featuring the first Dubstep and metal tracks we created called Best Metal & Dubstep Tracks: Flow My Tears - This all ties into one of the new W3M contests coming soon… - Learn about it below!

Finally, in a twist that’s got the industry buzzing, the RIAA has aimed at AI music tools, Suno and Udio, for allegedly using copyrighted tunes without permission. These platforms suddenly find themselves at the center of a legal storm brought by music industry giants like Sony, UMG, and Warner.

As dedicated users of Suno here in the W3M community, we’re keeping a close eye on this drama. The cases, filed in Boston and New York, aim to halt the unlicensed use of iconic sound recordings, ensuring artists get their rightful share. RIAA's Mitch Glazier put it bluntly: "We're cool with AI, but not when it steals the show."

This could change the game for us creators. Will Suno and Udio find a way to keep their grooves going, or will the RIAA's legal beat be too strong to ignore? Stay tuned as we watch how this unfolds!

Tons of Web3 Metal friends entered, and all of their tracks can now be listened to on the trending playlist below, directly on Suno - However, THE WINNING track that best accomplished the challenge resulting in an epic mosh call and breakdown is…below

W3M Suno Contest #1 Winning Music Videos

In June we introduced the Suno Discord community to Web3 Metal and asked them to send in their best songs for us. We listen to the songs that were entered and picked winners for two categories: best overall song and best lyrics.

The winners were recently selected, gaining access to the Web3 Metal Collab Club. They also received a lyric video visualizer created of their winning song. Check out those music videos below on our YouTube page.

COMING SOON: Suno Dubstep Metal Contest & Fallout Music Challenges

Get ready for the upcoming Web3 Metal community challenges! First, we tackle the converging worlds of Dubstep and metal for the chance to win free access to the W3M Collab Club and a music video for the winning track - An epic marriage of two aggressive music styles should give the community plenty to work with - the heavier and weirder the better - and you BETTER be bringing those heavy drops \m/

And we are bringing a special challenge for our community for those who aren’t as into the metal genres, or just REALLY into the Fallout universe. - Details to be announced soon in the Suno Discord and right here in a future issue.

I have been having a TON of fun writing lyrics about the Fallout universe in the different old American music styles showcased throughout the series. SO, I’m getting ready to call upon everyone who shares that love for the games and/or the recent TV series to get on Suno and give generative AI text-to-audio the ol’ college try!
