hiii, well for me its the first time that I record some drum cover, since this year
my play´s drum history its very irregular, I wanna being a drummer since 80's and 90´s but I cant because spine back cancer, 2 times plus radiotherapy, plus the drums here was an expensive instrument (and used ones too), so, I have to wait until 2000 year for sit me in front of a drumset for a first time, but I cant play accurate at all, so in 2008, I get some drum classes, but is in 2018-2019 that I practique with my drumset, finnaly I can make this homemade drumset . I was started in 2008 but without sucess. so, finnaly in 2023 and now 2024 I get a decent drumset for play so, some months ago I decide to start to play drums covers of some of my favorites songs ever, like BlackSabath, and others, im guitar player so, its very difficult, at least to me. About the recording capabilities I was sucks all the time since many years, I only enter into the studio and conect my guitar since 1997 to 2015 and play the guitar following the instructions of a sound engienier. but, in 2009 I pay to a friend for a quick sound tutorial in Nuendo H20 and protools, very basic, and was in 2018 that I finnaly watch some youtube tutorials about sound and Reaper and video edition, I was very ignorant of those themes until that year, and each year I try to being more "good" I finnaly using some Hive rewards to bought a sound console and learn to use it, and bought mics and cables, its kind of complicated but I try to make a decent mix, and now using some AI for mix my drum sound into this classics songs. its only an experiment but Im happy to do it lol I wanna do that basicly since 1989 long time ago I wanna cover some Carcass and NapalmDeath songs very soon. I hope I will can lol
