Today, I got a new banger artist to share for Three Tune Tuesday hosted by ablaze. The singer is Yung Kai and I think he has the potential to be super famous. I mean he already is getting kind of famous after his latest song release. If you haven't heard his songs before you're in for a treat. I will share three of his songs today and let's see if you like any of the songs. A bit of a warning, all these songs are love songs so if you can't handle that make a run for it!

Just a bit of a background I found on Yung Kai. He's from Canada and it seems he started releasing his own songs only a month ago. His latest song has been only out for five days and it already has a whopping 82 million plays and he has 9.5 monthly listeners! I feel like that's amazing for a fairly new artist out of nowhere to gain this kind of following. I think he has a very unique style compared to what's mainstream in the music industry which is why he has suddenly gotten popular.

I'm starting out with wildflower. I believe it's a good song to introduce the style of his music. It's very gentle with a simple melody with a focus on his great vocals. I also love the figurative meaning in the lyrics. He's using a wildflower to describe a girl he likes. Wildflowers can be interpreted as beautiful and they kind of brighten up the world and make it more colorful. This could possibly mean that this guy had a bit of a boring life until this girl came into his world and now he just wants to be with this wildflower so he has a more interesting life. He wants to maintain this so he will do whatever it takes to take care of the flower by "being it's sun" or being the rain I guess watering the flowers at least this is how I interpreted the song.

This is a short song a little under two minutes. It's gentle and simple. I love the focus on instruments and vocals. I love the simplicity in the lyrics. The song is about a guy that's totally in love with someone. He can't stop thinking about her. At the end of the song, it seems that the girl accepted his feelings and is willing to give it a try. This made the guy super happy that he was "crying to sleep" because his life is now perfect with her.

I saved the best for last. I believe this song is pretty much viral now but in case you haven't heard it yet, here's your chance. Honestly, this is an amazing love song. I saw in the comments people played it for their wedding. The lyrics + vocals + melody is just perfection. Honestly, I won't go through explaining the song. Just listen to it and you'll totally feel the meaning and power of the song; that's just how good it is.
