It's another beautiful Tuesday. The last Tuesday for the month of November. I did some volunteering over the weekend and I actually did think about what songs to post during the free time. I will be sharing my three tunes for three tune Tuesday playlist contest by ablaze.

Today, I will be focusing on songs by Stevie Hoang. Stevie was born in the UK and his family is from China if I'm not wrong. Anyways he's a lowkey singer so you probably never heard of him but he does have nice songs and I think his vocals are amazing. A lot of his songs are about love or falling out of love but this has nothing to do with my current mood. I just like his songs and I hope you will enjoy the songs I share today.

I started out with one of the songs that are falling out of love. You can see the song starts out with "my eyelids are starting to get a little bit heavy" which indicates that he's already cried or wants to cry. He's now alone and misses his girlfriend or wife. He wants to move on and forget her that's why he doesn't want to fall asleep because he sees her in his dreams. Everything is fine though throughout the day because he's too busy working to think about her.

I feel the meaning of this song is quite powerful because it can be relatable to a lot of relationships. The song shares a story of a relationship of a married couple which can be indicated in one of the lyrics saying the girl is staring at her ring. The guy seems to be fairly wealthy but busy with work; he can buy her everything but she needs more than just materialistic things. The girl seems sad because he doesn't know if he loves her anymore. She just wants the guy to do the little things like buying her flowers, telling her she's beautiful and make some more time for her. In the end, the guy seemed to figure it out after hearing her cry in the bedroom alone after coming back from work late at night. Then the next day he did all those little things for her to make her happy and hopefully will continue to do it every now and then.

This song makes me think of a lot of those movie and drama scenarios where the main character loves a girl that he's known for a good amount of time but she's already with somebody else. I guess this also does happen in real life as well. Anyways the guy that's with the girl doesn't treat her well and the mc is always there for her. He's tired of this and doesn't want to be "the other guy" anymore. He wants to be the one for her. I guess this is roughly what the song is about.
