Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday. I just had Brazlian bbq today so I had an amazing day. As usual, I will be sharing my three tunes for three tune tuesday playlist contest by ablaze. Today, I will be focusing on songs from Peder Elias who I didn't know about until recently. He is a Norwegian singer and his songs are quite interesting and catchy. Apparently, he also has a lot of Korean fans due to his collaboration with SEVENTEEN BSS on their song 7PM.

The first song is Twinkle Twinkle. If this sounds familiar, it's because the song I believe was inspired by the nursery song twinkle twinkle little stars. In this song, the little star that is twinkling is a girl that this guy met recently. She ghosted him after two months and he's wondering where she is now. The guy probably felt like this girl lit up his life and I'm inferring this based on what a star does at night. As for the I'm stuck talking to the moon, I have no idea what this could mean. I was thinking this meant that he was stuck talking to himself as the moon is lonely sometimes. Maybe this could be referenced to Bruno Mars's song Talking To the Moon.

If you couldn't tell, this song is also inspired by a nursery song. You would normally know it as row row your boat gently down the stream but this song takes this song to another level. This is what made the song interesting for me as it made the chorus kind of catchy in my opinion. Anyways this song is about a playgirl playing with a guy's feelings. The girl hurt him and he wants her to row her boat away from him. This is of course not a literal meaning it's in the sense that she should just be out of his life.

This last song though is not based off a nursery song at least not that I know of which is why I saved it for last. I believe this song is the one that got some attention from Korean fans due to a reaction video with SEVENTEEN BSS. Anyways I like this song because it quite accurately depicts the feelings of a shy guy that can't really convey his feelings to the girl he likes. In this song, the paper airplane is like his feelings for the girl. He hopes that his feelings can reach the girl before it crashes and breaks. This is all supported in the lyrics.
