I had an awesome day yesterday. I celebrated my birthday with hotpot; I will probably write a post about the hotpot tomorrow. It was amazing and now I will share three songs for my three tune Tuesday hosted by ablaze. Today, I want to share songs from Novelbright. Novelbright is a 5 man Japanese pop/rock group that formed in 2013. Honestly, I started listening to them today and they have some great songs!

#1. Everywhere I Go - Novelbright x Eric Nam

Everywhere I go is their newest song and their music video was released about two weeks ago! I got recommended this song from Youtube and I clicked in to listen since I saw Eric Nam as one of the singers. I found this to be an interesting collab and I think it worked out well! The combination was cool and this showcased that Novelbright can sing a different type of style compared to their other songs. I think the lyrics are simple yet catchy and the background music complements the lyrics. If I'm not wrong, it's supposed to be a sad song about a post breakup but you can't even tell from the beat of the music.

#2. ツキミソウ (Tsukimisou) - Novelbright

Tsukimisou is their most popular song. I really love the meaning of this song and I think it goes well with the background music. I like how it starts off with the piano; it seems like I like a lot of songs that start off with some piano. On top of that, the vocals are amazing! Anyways this song is a bit of an emo song and I beleive it can be felt listening to the song. The song is about trying to move on from a breakup but it's difficult. The person keeps remembering the memories of the relationship and in the end they realize that they lost the person that they always wanted to be with.

#3. Walking with you - Novelbright

I saved my favorite for last! You can feel the rock in this song more than the other songs I shared. I liked the music video because they showcased some tennis and that's my favorite sport even though I haven't played as much as I used to when I was younger. I love the vibe from this song. It's super positive and I like the mix of English in the song. Based on the title walking with you, I think it's a love song since the lyrics are about a person being saved in their dark times by someone and they were able to grow from it. Then they decided that they want to continue to be with that person in the future and walk with them no matter what comes in their way. It could also be about friendship or I could also be wrong.
