This is my post for the #threetunetuesday playlist which is a contest hosted by ablaze. Today, I will feature my part 6 for Korean songs! The songs I chose are randomly chosen from my Korean playlist and if it happened to be a song I covered before than I would skip it. Anyways I hope you enjoy the songs.

The first song randomly chosen was Movie Star by Mijoo. Mijoo used to be in a girl group called Lovelyz but they are not active anymore. She is now a solo artist if I'm not wrong. Anyways I like this song because it's super catchy.

The song has a great meaning. To me the title movie star doesn't actually mean the person is a movie star. Movie stars kind of are the star of the movie usually and everyone pays attention to them. It's like they are the main MC of an anime. They are like the Eren from Attack on Titans or Luffy from One Piece. Being able to be the movie star usually the story will revolve around them and they might have some troubles but usually everything will go their way in the end. This song is about having control of our own life and deciding the outcome.

The second song chosen was Beautiful by Crush. Crush is a solo artist that usually sings Hip Hop and R&B songs. I think this song is one of the few songs outside of his normal genre of songs. This song is actually from a Korean drama called Goblin and if you ask any Kdrama fan I'm sure they watched this before. This song is a gentle and meaning of the song is very sweet.

This song is quite straight forward. The person feels that life is beautiful because of the person that they love. The person they love is by their side under the same sky and that's enough for the person to be happy everyday and have a happy life.

Finally, the last song chosen was Heartbreaker by G-Dragon. G-Dragon was part of one of the most famous and OG boy kpop groups of all time called BigBang. In my opinion, G-Dragon is not that great of a dancer compared to the other BigBang members and this can be shown in the MV blue and many other references. Anyways this song is one of his solo songs that was pretty famous back in the time which was over 10 years ago. The song was also super catchy for its time and it was definitely different then the typical kpop at the time using more electronic sound with the voice.

This song is also quite straightforward. There is a girl that doesn't like the guy anymore. I feel like they were most likely dating due to one of the lyrics saying "the word's let's be together forever were only a moment's sweetness". There isn't a clear reason why the girl suddenly disliked the guy in the lyrics of the song. The guy is hurt by her and considers her to be his heartbreaker and that's roughly what the song is about.
