I played pickleball again yesterday so didn't manage to make a post but I never miss my three tune tuesday post. I recently found this singer through spotify and he has some pretty cool songs. He goes by Obito and I thought that was a cool name since it's also one of surprise characters from Naruto Shippuden. Apparently, Obito is a popular hip-hop and rap singer from Vietnam. I think this is the first time I featured a Vietnamese singer. Hopefully, you like one of his songs.

I'm starting out with his most famous song. This is his most viewed YouTube video and it's probably the song that helped him kickstart his career. I like the beat of the song and I find the chorus to be catchy. The song is about a guy falling in love with a girl. The guy wants to chase the girl and have a sweet, simple love. I could be wrong though because I just googled translated the lyrics and interpreted in based on that and the video.

The rap for this song is sick even though I wouldn't know the meaning without translating the lyrics. I believe this song is about the singer sharing his story of being a singer. He had to make sacrifices, face challenges etc and despite all this he's made it. I guess the song could be to celebrate his success while also acknowledging what he had to go through to get there and he wanted to share this through a song.

This last song is the song that introduced me to Obito. Usually, I save the best for last but I think my favorite was the second song. I still like this song because it's a chill song. I think it's just the chill R&B feels. I think it's super catchy and I liked he used soju to tie the song together. What do I mean by this. Well, soju is a type of alcohol from Korea and it's known for hanging out and bonding with friends. For this song, I think the soju was more about bonding together with a love interest.
