Here I am back again sharing my #threetunetuesday playlist for the contest hosted by ablaze. Every Tuesday I will handpick three songs to share with the Hive community. I hope there's one song that you like out of the three.

I actually came across this song today. I feel this song is kind of one of those lowkey songs. It's great but didn't really mainstream or viral. Something interesting I found out was JERUB was born in Nigeria and I know there's a fair amount of people from Nigeria in Hive so I hope they like this song. The song is gentle, super meaningful and at the same time full of power.

This song is quite straight forward with the meaning. The guy in the lyrics is saying that he will be there for someone and that they will be their friend. He's willing to do this because he was also in bad situation before and he got saved by that person or somebody else that was there when he needed somebody. In a way this is him, spreading the kindness given to him to others.

This song is quite catchy. I find it interesting because I feel it's an emo love song yet it's kind of upbeat and lively which isn't what you would expect from an emo song. I also think the title is interesting as it's kind of controversial. In the past, a lot of boys were told they shouldn't cry because they are a "guy" and that they should hide their emotions but I think this has changed now hopefully. If I'm not wrong, this song is about a guy getting heartbroken because he lost the girl he liked to somebody else and this is what I got from the video and the lyrics.

I believe I saved the best for last here. This song is on another level and I guess it's not surprising with how many views the YouTube video has. I like how the lyrics and melody goes slow fast slow fast. I feel this song is about having genuine confidence in yourself. It's good to be confident but it has to be genuine. It can't be insecurity and trying to fool yourself into having confidence. I'm not sure if I made sense here. There's one lyric said many times in the song I hope I wake up young again. I feel this is trying to saying "It's time to rebuild that confidence". Confidence is something that is built over time and the best time to start is when we are young and absorbing all the knowledge like a sponge. I could be way off on this but I hope you liked this song.
