Happy Tuesday everybody. As usual, I will be sharing my #threetunetuesday playlist for the contest hosted by ablaze. Today, I will be sharing some songs that were used for the song for League of Legends worlds. Worlds is starting today so I thought this fit the occasion as I will be watching the games. By the way there are a lot of good songs from Worlds it was hard to choose three!

GODS is the newest theme song for League of Legends Worlds 2023 which was released five days ago as of this post. I've played League of Legends for many seasons and I always watch worlds and see the best players play it out. I really like this song and how they chose New Jeans to sing this song. League of Legends worlds music seem to always be on point.

Anyways this song is interesting because of the story behind the song. The song is sharing the road of Deft the last year's world champion playing ADC. He started playing League of Legends in highschool and then made it to play professionally. He wasn't able to win a world championship until last year against all olds he won against the most favorite team SKT that is a 3 time world champion against one of the GOATS of the game called Faker.

Burn It All Down was the Worlds song for 2021. It's also another masterpiece from the League of Legends team. I love the animation for this song as well. As for this song, I don't think its tied to any particular person or team like GODS was. This song is I feel more general.

Based on the lyrics, I feel this is another song about underdogs. It's about not underestimating them because they have the power to become a "dark horse" hence the burn it all down.

I saved one of the older songs for last and I felt it was a good song to end this post with. Legends Never Die was the Worlds song for 2014. I like the meaning of this song because it's about fighting and going towards your dreams. No matter how many times you fall down, you have to pick yourself up and keep going. I also believe this song could be related to Faker because he is a legend in League of Legends. He kept going to Worlds and kept trying to get more Worlds titles. Even this year he's still playing and I'm looking forward to watching him play and I hope he can win another title. Even if he retired I think his name would still be recognized. His legacy would still live on without all the amazing moments he had so he will be a legend that never dies in a sense.
