Do You Know Jeff?
Introduction
Today, I want to share three songs from Jeff Satur for Three Tune Tuesday hosted by Ablaze. Jeff Satur is a singer from Thailand. He mainly sings Thai songs but he also has English versions of his songs. I will be sharing three of his songs that are in the English version. I believe I have shared some of his Thai songs in past three tune Tuesdays. Last week, I shared three songs from a guess the song game on a discord which you can check out if you're interested.
#1. Lucid - Jeff Satur
I feel this is a great opening song to introduce Jeff. It's a soft and gentle song about a girl that left the guy in a relationship. He can't seem to forget her and enjoys dreaming about the good times in the past. Last week, I did share a song called lucid dreams by Juice wrld and I think these songs have a similar message but the one by Juice wrld sounds a lot more emo.
#2. Dum Dum - Juice WRLD
I believe I shared the Thai version of this song before. For this song, I really love the lyrics. It's kind of deep and uses a lot of figurative language. My favorite part of the song is the chorus. It just has a super catchy beat and the way he sings dum dum is so nice. The song is about a girl that fooled a guy in a relationship. She probably cheated on him as well as lied a lot to him. The guy finally realized it and won't be fooled no more.
#3. Hide - Jeff Satur
I saved my personal favorite for last. I'm ending it on a positive note. The song is about a guy totally in love with a girl. He believes that she is the one hence the lyrics "baby it's you". I think the title hide has to do with the guy's feelings. He won't hide them anymore. He will go all out to show that he really cares about and loves the girl.
