Introduction

It's Wednesday here since it's past midnight but I still wanted to get this post done because I have done it every week without fail! I shared three songs from Pierce The Veil last week for Three Tune Tuesday. Today, I want to share songs from a K-pop group called BEAST. I'm also focusing on adding all their songs to Leoglossary! Hopefully, I will finish before the end of this week.

BEAST was a K-pop group formed in 2009. They were one of the first K-pop grouped I listened to since this was around the time I got into Korean music. This was around the time when American music started having a lot of songs about drinking, drugs and sex as the mainstream music and I wasn't too much of a fan of that. The songs I chose today are probably some of their top songs and I'm basing this on the view count for the music video.

#1. Beautiful - BEAST

I chose Beautiful as the opening song. It's a pretty wholesome song about a guy expressing their love for a girl he likes. All he sees is her and to him she's the most beautiful girl. I love how the song has an upbeat hip hop feel to it but at the same time also would be considered a love song. I think this is kind of unique as usually love songs are slow or more towards the emo side. This is also one of the first K-pop songs I had downloaded on my Ipod Nano! Wow time flies I wonder if kids these days would be like what is an Ipod Nano since now all phones can pretty much play music.

#2. I Like You The Best - BEAST

If you watched the end of the Beautiful video, it said to be continued. Well, this song is the part 2 which continues after the to be continue; you can see the end of the plot from the music video. I can't recall any artists that have music videos that are linked together so I always thought this was kind of cool. The meaning of the song isn't too different from Beautiful. They both have the same message about a guy liking a girl.

#3. Fiction - BEAST

I saved my favorite for last. I really love the choreography in this song, you can kind of see starting at 1:23. I actually wanted to learn how to do the dance but it was too hard for me because I suck at dancing. I also love the meaning of the song. It's about love that became lost. The person couldn't believe that the love was gone / relationship was over. It just became "fiction" to them. A memory they didn't want to accept was the reality. In addition to that, I liked how in the end of video there was nothing and that they both wrote in the book/diary to kind of represent that it was all "fiction" just their dream and imagination.
