Hive Open Mic week 202 - A Thousand Year by Christina Perri (Cover)
Hi everyone, welcome to the Hive open mic week #202 music community, My name is @Sessy and I'm so happy to be here this week.
The theme for this week is:
Contando Una Historia
which means Telling a story.
I decided to sing a song by Christina Perri, titled A thousand years. This particular song is from a movie called The Twillight.
An interesting movie that tells the story of a forbidden love affair between two people from different races of life.
Despite knowing the dangers associated with being together, and what they will have to face, the consequences and chaos that comes with it, they were willing to sail the ship together and go all the way, no matter what it costs, no matter what life throws at them.
They were willing to love each other regardless of whatever, even if they had to wait for a thousand years to be together,
And just like the song said, "how can i love when I'm afraid to fall"
Love is indeed a beautiful thing and it knows no bounds.

I was introduced to this community by @ambmicheal and I must say he’s indeed a great mentor, he recommended some markdown styling tutorials for me to read and has been helping me answer questions whenever I have issues...
He's mostly unavailable and less interested in music, but he saw that I have passion for it and so he asked me to read about openmic and I am glad I did.
I have watched so many entries, and I took out time to study some key points I needed to take note of, and it has also helped me understand the Hive Open Mic world better.
