Roland MC-808 Wave File Sample Set

The Roland MC-808 is a sampling groovebox released in 2006, best known for being the first of its kind to feature eight motorized faders. These faders automatically adjust to match the saved settings of your patterns, providing immediate visual feedback during live performances. It functions as a 16-track sequencer, a 128-voice synthesizer, and a sampler, offering significantly more polyphony than its predecessor, the MC-909.
While it packs a powerful sound engine with nearly 900 patches and a massive note capacity for complex arrangements, the user interface relies on a small two-line LCD. This often requires users to use a computer-based editor for deep sound design or sample management. It supports 16-bit sampling and can be expanded up to 516MB of RAM using a DIMM slot, with storage handled via CompactFlash cards.
