TTT during troubling times
For those who have been following my blog, they would know that I'm currently at war with my educational institution and at odds with my tertiary decisions.
Mechanical Engineering is hard. I knew this, I accepted this, but these last eight days have just been...
WHAT THE ACTUAL FCK!!!*
I haven't had time for myself and only been doing assignments, preparing presentations and reading for tests.
Missed some assignments because of other assignments and at this point I'm teaching myself the courses that I paid the school for.
Regardless this isn't a post for me to rant about my school troubles - at least it wasn't meant to be.
It's Tuesday, at least the last hour of Tuesday in some parts of the world, and like most of the things I've done this week, I'm presenting at the die minute.
So without further ado, here are my tunes.
heart part 6 ~ Kendrick Lamar
The heart series is a sacred series to all Kendrick Lamar fans and has its own symbolism in his full discography.
The heart series is simply a collection of singles that Kendrick releases before dropping a major album, each song showing a sneak peak into his mindset and artistic vision for that album.
They mostly go unnoticed, and so many wouldn't have known about them if The Heart Part 5 didn't blow like wildfire.
Still most fans wouldn't notice that there was a heart track dropped within his latest album GNX.
Now considering the controversial stage at which this album was dropped, one would think that this heart song would have references to his beef, but no, he stayed through to the series mindset and allowed the song showcase his views and insights on the album.
Reflecting on his early years in the industry and his departure from Top Dawg entertainment.
What Was ~ Benson Boone
Benson Boone is one gem that I uncovered and happy I did. Listened to beautiful things but it's slow down that really got me hooked.
Since then, I've come across a number of wonderful songs from him and the latest of the list is this one here.
In What Was, Benson simply sings about losing someone important and wishing to start over.
Poisonous Waters ~ Powfu
Music has really helped me and this song is one I've listened to so many times. Powfu and heartbreak is such a calming remedy, especially now that I'm always stressed five days a week, the dopamine songs give me something to help pass the time.
This is a wonderful song too, yet hard to explain so I'll just leave the link here so y'all can see the song yourself.
So @ablaze, these are my entries into #threetunestuesday. Now I'm off to go prepare for a test that'll hold in the next 12 hours
