I've already finished the album's story and if you have a wonderful ear for music and you saw my last post you would have gone ahead and finished it too.

Yet let's just say you slept on it, or unfortunately didn't see my last #ttt post, well here's your second chance to get a taste of the Epic Musical Soundtrack!!

Epic The Musical

Almost everybody has heared Homer's Odyssey of Odysseus. Well almost everybody of last century and perhaps the last decade.
Sadly, the 20th century love for prime literature and mythology is dwindling, yet the story must be told.
If you can't win them, join them and if the audience tastes change, then the information medium must change too.
That's how we have Homer's Odyssey retold.
We get to see the trials of the Greek hero Odysseus, his quest in learning the lessons on Ruthlessness taught by the gods.

The Cyclops Saga.

In my last post. It was the Troy Saga. Odysseus had finished and won his battle and started coming home. This saga now depicts his first trial and the beginning of his tribulations.
It's quite moving and shocking so settle down and lock in.

- Open Arms

Polites and Odysseus land on the strange island looking for food for their men.
Polites tries telling Odysseus to relax and be more trusting. Viewing the world in a brighter light would bring more peace and happiness.

This is an upbeat song that draws us closer to Polites as a character, adds more depth and emotional ties with him. Something that wasn't actually referenced in Homer's Odyssey but meh, this is a retold version.

- Polyphemus

This is where the cyclops saga actually starts. After being directed by the lotus eaters to the cave where they can get food.
Odysseus, Polites and the men see so many sheep and kills one, then they're confronted by a cyclops.
It gets dark pretty quick so brace up for impact.

- Survive

The Cyclops attack in rage and Odysseus men are left to defend. A fight against such a deadly monster.
This isn't a fight to win, nor a fight for conquest, it's a fight to survive.

This musical is something of a mixed genre, no definitive musical flow but everything sounds so beautiful.

This is my best album and because of that I'll drop a bonus tune.

This is the proclamation of Odysseus and my best song of the album.

- Remember Them

This post is an entry for @ablaze #threetunestuesday initiative.

What's your favorite musical tune or the favorite of the tunes I've shared today?
