Out With The Old, In with the New
The music world around me has been all hyper recently due to the release of multiple albums, news and shows.
Naturally I'd be up to date on all of them but due to school and other urgent stuff, I've not been really active online.
Nevertheless, there are some artists which I must listen to and one of them, one of my oldest and one of the greatest dropped his (rumored) last album last week. I'll drop a song from it.
Fuel ~ Eminem ft JID
The Album The Death Of Slim Shady has mixed reviews from different people, all talking about how the album throws a lot of shades to different aspects of community.
I think so too though as Eminem really let his tongue fly on this one with witty rhymes and disrespectful bars.
This song, though was one that whose feature I didn't expect.
As everyone who has been reading my posts should know by now, I have been listening to Jid a lot and to hear him with Eminem and really stand his own was just wholesome ✨
Talking about JID, lets go to the second song of today.
Down Bad ~ Dreamville.
The album, Return Of The Dreamers II really has some of the best tracks due to the numerous new artists and talents added and one of their most uprising is Jid whose rhymes and lines leave fans jumping everytime.
Jcole really struck gold with this kid and he's dropping hits in every sing and feature he does.
In this song, you can see his totally in the flow as his opening verse literally steals the show.
It's not that the rappers who came after him were bad, he was just that good.
Now going to something new, Rema's latest album HEIS really shocked everybody with the new flow he undertook.
Everyone had taken Rema for a lad with melodic quick hiphop verses that leave girls thirsting for more, yet this new album showed that this African talent is willing to be versatile to take things to the next level, and to that, I happily approve.
Ozeba ~ Rema
Ozeba meaning trouble, wahalla but in a more concrete term in Edo language, this is a song which like most of the album deeply captured the hearts of Edo youths.
We rambunctious folks are always known to be hot blooded and known to get into trouble so he happily brought that sound to his album😂
He mentioned earlier this year that he'll be back with a new sound and tone, that fans wouldn't be ready for it and truly we weren't.
The "Hehehe" video sneak peek blew up on socials and the Benin Boys song and video literally broke the media, and now the whole album has dropped.
Well, like he said in his track
When he says another banger you go better believe am.

To me, the music didn't change but that's because I hardly listen to it and if it's the same. Lately, I listen more to parodies. A bit fun one should orchestrate in life.
Perhaps it's because you hardly listen to it.
Parodies huh... Most times I dint get the joke behind them but when I occasionally hear the one which I do truly understand, they are quite nice.
Got any few to recommend?
I have some songs I can share...
This is golden 😭🤣🤣🤣
Aging men left me rolling 😭😂
I would beat it though 😭😭
