One X

I'm always a fan for trying new songs, so when a fairly new friend of mine went on and on about how she's a die hard fan of rock and roll I kept quiet and thought in my head..

"Well this is interesting."

Rock and Roll is a very unpopular genre in my country, parents don't like it, misinterpreting and linking the songs and band looks to satanic cultures and if we're to be honest some of them are easy to misinterpret 😂😂
Then most teens don't like it simply because no one else does, what's in the rage is hip-hop and Afro music because that's what you hear everywhere.

Easy to say that any early love for rock and roll you might be trying to build in her can easily and would almost certainly be killed by outside sources.

Still there's this lass, 'Pooh', I call her as her name has some resemblance to the show about the bear that loves honey, and she has multiple rock and roll albums from multiple bands.

Curious and a bit impressed, I decided to listen to one of them..

Three Days Grace

Apparently this is one of her favorites and she's practically in love with their album One X.

- It's All Over

The first song on the album really blew my mind.
I always knew that rock bands had a way with guitar's, I listened to U2 and new the magic that bands like them could do.
Yet this song was just something. Catchy, fun, and leads you on, a perfect album starter!!!

- Never Too Late

I guess my bias about this song is how calm it was in respect to the others in the album.
And the lyrics!!!!
This is a song for those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts and thinking about ending it all.
It's never too late to stay alive!!!
Then the guitar melody just adds that tone to it all✨

- Riot

Now this is hard rock!!!

We know it from the scream of the lead and bass.
A song that talks about the intricacies of those who've been bullied and pushed into second place.
Urging them to start a riot and fight for their spot in the spotlight.
It's a song about protesting about all the negative things in life and I totally love it!!!!

Lovely songs on the album so for the rock fans or the curious non -rock fans out there reading this.

I totally recommend!!!
