Hozier For TTT

From reading yesterday's post, most people would think that I'd have some more rap songs to share today.
To be honest, at first, I thought it would be Rap too..

Yet as they say "life is as fickle as that", and as I sit down on my bed healing from another stressful day of school, facing the full force of air conditioning and earbuds on blasting the album Hozier, I realize just how true that saying is.

To be honest, I'd thought of presenting these songs over 2 weeks ago, yet I just didn't have the right words or felt it was the right time to write about em, well now's the time...

Empire Now

Decided to start with something serious for our Irish host @ablaze.
This song is apparently a reflection of the one hundred years since Ireland took its first step to Independence from the UK and Britain Empire.
It's also a song that tries to explain how the past influences the future.
There are jokes and funny memes going about how hozier is that friendly roadside nomadic musician an adventurer sees ok a queste and finds the songs he sings mystical.
These kind of songs are probably what gave inspiration to those jokes.

Too Sweet

This song has literally been everywhere.
Like a friend of mine said, the song is literally "Too Sweet."
Catchy lyrics, fun beat and an awesome tune, mixed with his vocals, this song was a hit.
The song depicts the contrast between two different personalities, someone who loves to tale life at his own pace, enjoying whiskey, coffee and late nights while his partner is one who is persistent in health, discipline and early beds. It's a fun song, one that would just make you smile.

Work Song

This gem, I discovered while looking through Hozier's discography.
A love ballad, that's moving to the soul.
It's hard to explain, but without a doubt my best entry for today.

Regardless, that's it for my #threetunestuesday entry for today.
Quite rare that I'd present an Irish musician though, regardless my music tastes crosses nationality and today just happened to be Irish.
