I'm stressed, tired, pained and to be honest just simply exhausted. Regardless I've found myself to be musically nostalgic.
A while back, I remembered a rather short time when rap music was more musical and sing-song than the fast, hard and quick-witted lines we're being served right now.
Now don't get me wrong, I do love what Eminem, Cole, Kendrick and Jid are spitting now... but alas I've found myself wishing for more of Prime Gunna..

Hot ~ Young Thug ft Gunna and Travis Scott.

This was a fire song, the sounds and rhymes were cool, nobody knew what it meant but it sounded awesome and that was what mattered.
Then the video dropped, and it was even hotter🔥🔥

Gunna before Hot was cool too, this earlier shorter song of him and Lil baby is a regular visitor to the playlist in my head. It's just too catchy.

Drip Too Hard ~ Lil Baby ft Gunna

It's nothing special, again another song that I don't know what the lyrics meant, and to be honest, at that time I didn't care😂
It didn't stop me from being able to recite it perfectly as though it was my national anthem though.
Five years after, and it's still so catchy...

This last tune is one that I remembered just after writing about the first two. I jad originally planned a Cole song, but this one is a bit more nostalgic and I feel would be more into the theme.
Plus its from an artist I haven't even mentioned before, and to be honest, I think a whole lot of people have forgotten of.

W ~ Koffee ft Gunna

This song was crazy, a midnight sensation and it earned Gunna a nomination to the Grammy's.
Koffee, the young Jamaican lass had brought out some hits along the years but just suddenly fell off.

Not an odd occurrence in the hip-hop industry.

The vibe with Gunna hear was unreal and the song on its own was a banger🔥✨

This is my entry into #threetunestuesday by @ablaze.
At first, I started writing the post with a specific prompt in mind but it switched up and became a post full of Gunna features.

Goes to show that a trip down memory lane can't be planned thoroughly...

Regardless, at the beginning, I didn't have a specific course for the tunes so I'm glad that they all managed to share a specific theme at the end 😂✨
