Ever since The Forever story, I knew I loved this guy. I loved his flow, his rhyme schemes, his creativity and even better, his stories!

The Forever Story was 3 years ago and ever since then we've seen him perform and excel in numerous other tracks.

Yet now, his latest masterpiece is back and I'm grinning from ear to ear.

It's a 15 songs album that cuts across numerous themes. Normally, while listening to his albums, I always have my immediate favorites and some other songs that I warm up to later on.

Gz is one of the songs that I immediately fell in love with, first for the rhyme schemes, the beat and then the story.
On this song, Jid talks about the Atlanta black society life of gangster and he hints that it's based on the racism that blacks face in America

Wholeheartedly is another one of the songs I fell in love with, the idea of Jid singing isn't something I'd have imagined in the wildest of days. The idea of him singing so good is even crazier 😂😭
This song is all about loyalty and trust. Jid talks about how real family are close and always choose themselves despite of anything faced.

Now this is probably my best song so far in the album. Jessie Reyez did so well that it was just an experience to listen to. This particular song is different from the other two because of the format.
A duet that looks like a dinner table argument and somehow turns into a therapist. I'm just in awe at the plot. Then the Spanish

This is my entry into @ablaze's #threetunestuesday initiative.
Some new tunes from my newest rapper bias.
Regardless...

Which Song is your favorite?

Decent enough rap.

he hints that it's based on the racism that blacks face in America

It would be interesting if the native Americans had music going mainstream about the racism they get from everyone in America and it is their land in the first place.
Mrs T is part choktaw and cherokee and it does get her blood boiling the racism they still receive from the blacks, hispanics, whites et al in America.

It's sad but I don't think racism would ever go away..

It can be one less noticeable, but such stains don't vanish

Yeah it's a shame but that is the human race for you, some people will always want to be better than someone else!
