GNX for Three Tunes Tuesday

It's no secret that I love hip-hop rap. The power of this music cannot be overemphasized. The emotions it carries, the ingenuity the artist's use when creating it, the culture it represents, it's all just so attractive to me.
One particular artist who I love and actively follow his songs is Kendrick Lamar and he dropped again last month.

In actuality GNX in my and so many others opinion is a forced album for it's a common knowledge that Kendricks albums are nothing less than 5-6 years apart.
Yet just a year after his wonderful max album Mr. Morale and the Big steppers he released this one. It can be easily linked as a response to his beef between Drake and J Cole earlier this year as both artists commented on his lengthy cool down period between albums.

Despite the propaganda and thoughts surrounding the album, it's no doubt to say that he extremely ate🔥🔥
So here I am to mention and talk briefly about three of the songs that I loved the most.

wacced out murals

This is the first track of the GNX album. This song and album really surprised everyone because it was totally unexpected like I mentioned earlier. Plus it's also the first song of the first album after the renowned Drake beef. (For those who may not know about the beef you could check it out on Wikipedia)
This song in summary is just a genuine unfiltered statement from Kendrick about his passion to his art, his struggles with external pressures and his vision for the future.

reincarnated

This is possibly my favorite song of the full album. It kicks of the 2nd part of the GNX album and it debuted at number 8 of The Billboard Hot 100 list.
In this song, Kendrick talks about ast great musicians in their prime, talking about how he feels connected both artistically and personally to them as though they're his past lives.
The last stanza is him as himself and then him as God's son, then the angel Lucifer.
What impressed me the most is the lyrical genius of this song. It was crazy😭😭😭😔

"I rewrote the devil's story just to take our powers back"

The most real verse in that song.

gloria

The last song of the album. This song has a completely different tune, pace and vibe from the rest.
Listening to it, one may believe that Kendrick was talking about his wife or another love interest.
Well one isn't entirely wrong. As he is talking about a love interest, his art.
The relationship he describes shows his conflicted and intimate bond with his art. It's power to consume and uplift him. Regardless I like to believe and it's easier to believe that he's talking about his wife.
Regardless of what you decide to believe, it's no doubt that it's a lovely song.

These are my three songs for today. I was about to give up and go to bed but we give thanks for @ablaze and his wonderful #threetunestuesday which always seems to help me when I'm looking for what to post✨

Which song was your best?
