Arrdee and Laundry
Last week was quite stressful and over packed, adding the fact that I had a test on the weekend Saturday plus another 8am -8pm filled day yesterday.
It could be said that since Monday 16th pf September till Monday 23rd of September, I've not had a single day of rest... Sadly, neither had my wardrobe.
picture taken by the time 7:49 pm on my forced 5km trek yesterday because of rain, traffic and shitty road construction people.
One may have loads of clothes, but after 8 full days of outings and wearing, one would have loads full of laundry.
At such, today, despite the activity I was urged to attend I stayed at home because of just one fact.
I had ran out of clothes.
As humourous as it sounded, it was a real predicament. After my bath and thirty minutes of searching, I finally saw a tracksuit trouser that manages to fit me.
It may be a size too small but its clean.
With my below covered, I abandoned the search for a top and instead started the quest on the laundry.
It was a daunting sight, clearly not a battle I planned on doing without some tunes in my ear.
The total process of washing, rinsing and spreading/drying took over three hours and I had been listen to all my music.
A lot of songs played but for some reason I was feeling a little British.
This was the first tune that made me cock my head while scrubbing a particularly stubborn stain on my white.
It's been a while since I listened to Arrdee, I remember when I heard him first with Oliver Twist and 60 minutes in Brighton.
It's quite odd for a rapper to have two old songs blow up simultaneously, his skyrocket to fame started from there and all his songs have been pretty good.
I particularly liked the tune Come and Go.
As though Deezer's shuffle was in my mind while I was drowning the white and scrubbing it, this tune played next and I sang and rap the lyrics as though there were my own.
There's something about the British accent and the beat that makes you want to stand up and dance no matter what he's rapping about.
Just like the verse he did on Body that broke the Internet.
Deezer didn't listen to my mind this time and instead put on another Arrdee song, although this one with a feminine accompaniment.
I don't know Cat Burns and its only this one she sand with Arrdee that I've listened to, but as I was rinsing and remembering the time when the song first came out, I remember when some of my female friends were excited about cat burns joining up for the song.
Listening to this song, I realize she did quite well and I actually did like her...
Regardless I'm not yet moved to go check for her discography so i guess it'll be like that for a while...
After this last tune, I didn't hear Arrdee again till I finished my laundry.
It was a massive chore but the satisfaction at having an empty laundry basket is quite the reward.
Regardless these are my tunes for @ablaze's #threetunestuesday.
Hope he and all my readers enjoy em ✨.
