Hii Hive Open Mic 🥳🥳. It's a very unique week and probably the most stressful one I've had in a long while, but I couldn't pass up the chance to appreciate my friends. Congratulations to my friend @jesus-son for giving us such a beautiful theme this week. You're doing well.

The theme states, "A Good Friend." Numerous times, I've asked myself if I'm actually a good friend to my beautiful friends. I've never really dwelt on that question, but this theme has made me think about it. That question led me to another question: How do I gauge a good friend?

Sacrifices and selflessness are what we often attribute to good friends. Those are important, but to me, a good friendship means much more. To me, friendship means coming to a place of mutual understanding with people. Friendship is a lot more than giving and taking; you let people in on your life, you get to know each other, and you grow and learn together.

One of the major things I have learned in my most cherished friendships is vulnerability. Friends know our weaknesses and down times, and they're always there to encourage us despite them. At times, we don't have as many chitchat sessions as we usually do, but whenever we get the chance, we make it worthwhile. I've also come to the realization that, as far as being there for one another goes, there are times or situations where friends can do little, but knowing that little might be their best at the time makes our friendships solid still.

I've met a number of coool people through Hive. A big shoutout to my friends on Hive @monioluwa, @josediccus, @olujay, @chosenfingers, @jaydr, @ @monica-ene, @hopestylist, @maryjacy, @rukkie, @ksam, @isaacngore, @jjmusa2004 and a lot of wonderful people. You all are the best 🥰. Cheers to more years of beautiful friendship 🥳

Hii Hive Open Mic 🥳🥳. Es una semana muy singular y probablemente la más estresante que he tenido en mucho tiempo, pero no podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de apreciar a mis amigos. Felicidades a mi amigo @jesus-son por regalarnos un tema tan bonito esta semana. Lo estás haciendo muy bien.

El tema dice: "Un buen amigo " Numerosas veces me he preguntado si realmente soy un buen amigo para mis hermosos amigos. Nunca me había parado a pensar en ello, pero este tema me ha hecho reflexionar. Esa pregunta me llevó a otra pregunta: ¿Cómo califico a un buen amigo?

Sacrificios y desinterés es lo que solemos atribuir a los buenos amigos. Son importantes, pero para mí una buena amistad significa mucho más. Para mí, la amistad significa llegar a un punto de entendimiento mutuo con la gente. La amistad es mucho más que dar y recibir; dejas que la gente entre en tu vida, llegas a conoceros y crecéis y aprendéis juntos.

Una de las cosas más importantes que he aprendido en mis amistades más queridas es la vulnerabilidad. Los amigos conocen nuestras debilidades y nuestros momentos de bajón, y siempre están ahí para animarnos a pesar de ellos. A veces, no tenemos tantas sesiones de cháchara como de costumbre, pero siempre que tenemos ocasión, hacemos que valga la pena. También me he dado cuenta de que, en lo que se refiere a estar ahí el uno para el otro, hay veces o situaciones en las que los amigos pueden hacer poco, pero saber que ese poco puede ser lo mejor en ese momento hace que nuestra amistad siga siendo sólida.

He conocido a mucha gente genial a través de Hive. Un gran saludo a mis amigos de Hive @monioluwa, @josediccus, @olujay, @chosenfingers, @jaydr, @ @monica-ene, @hopestylist, @maryjacy, @rukkie, @ksam, @isaacngore, @jjmusa2004 y un montón de gente maravillosa.
