Hive Open Mic Week 157 || How Great Is Our God by Chris Tomlin (cover) || Eng-Esp

The theme this week is basically asking you to describe who God is to you. I was in a conversation with a colleague of mine recently, and he kept going on and on about the "supreme being". I had to ask if he was scared to call him God 😂. I realize that we all have different perspectives on the existence of humans and the earth. Some believe in mother nature; some even in the inner god. Well, I am singing about the God I adore—the God who's three in one. I believe in Jesus, in His birth, death, and resurrection, and in the trinity, which is the basis of my faith. There's a song we used to sing when I was little; it says my God is big, bigger than the ocean, wider than the sea, deeper than the river, taller than a tree, higher than a mountain—my God is very big. Just like the song I presented, it acknowledges the awesomeness and unfathomable greatness of God.

How Great Is Our God by Chris Tomlin is a song that'll never be outdated. I recall hearing my sister sing this song several times when I was much younger, and that was how I came to learn the song. I was going through my archives recently and found it right there; it's a song for the season, and I'm glad to be sharing it with you. Thanks for being amazing!❤

El tema de esta semana consiste básicamente en pedirte que describas quién es Dios para ti. Hace poco estuve en una conversación con un colega y no paraba de hablar del "ser supremo". Tuve que preguntarle si le daba miedo llamarlo Dios 😂. Me doy cuenta de que todos tenemos diferentes perspectivas sobre la existencia de los humanos y de la tierra. Algunos creen en la madre naturaleza; otros incluso en el dios interior. Pues bien, yo estoy cantando sobre el Dios que adoro: el Dios que es tres en uno. Creo en Jesús, en su nacimiento, muerte y resurrección, y en la trinidad, que es la base de mi fe. Hay una canción que solíamos cantar cuando era pequeño; dice que mi Dios es grande, más grande que el océano, más ancho que el mar, más profundo que el río, más alto que un árbol, más alto que una montaña; mi Dios es muy grande. Al igual que la canción que he presentado, reconoce la asombrosa e insondable grandeza de Dios.
