Three Tune Tuesday - Miracle Workers
Hello, music lovers! π΅
On #threetunestuesday, I reflect on the music I listened to growing up and the music I had access to. And when something reminds me of moments from my youth, I try to relive those memories through music.
Today I felt like listening to a band that no longer exists; I used to have their cassette tape. Does anyone else remember cassettes? But that was a long time ago. Now I donβt even have a cassette player anymore, not even in the car - I gave everything away quite a while back.
We still have a solution for this now - YouTube is here to help me :)

For those of you who are not (yet) familiar with #threetunetuesday or #ttt - these are the tags you need to set when you post.
It's a music initiative started by @ablaze, and with his words, the gist is as follows:
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs that I like to listen to, and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tag that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the reward.
The Miracle Workers were an American band from Portland; they were active on the rock scene for 10 years, from 1982 to 1992, before breaking up. They started out as a garage rock revival band influenced by the 1960s, but later shifted toward alternative hard rock and even early stoner rock. During their active years, they released four studio albums. They didnβt have any major commercial hits on the music charts; they were more highly regarded in the underground and garage rock scenes, and their songs appear on many compilations of these genres.
Miracle Workers - Already Gone
The song Already Gone is from their debut album, Inside Out, released in 1985. The song is a typical garage rock track that strongly evokes bands active in the early 1960s.
Miracle Workers - When a woman calls my name
The song is from their second album, Overdose, released in 1987. It was also released as a single.
Miracle Workers - Fool
The song Fool is from their 1991 studio album, Roll Out The Red Carpet, on which they shifted toward a more alternative and hard rock sound, featuring heavier guitar riffs and energetic drumming.
As a bonus, one of the newer uploads I found on YT. It's from the first album.
Miracle Workers - One Step Closer To You
That's all for today, thank you for your attention.
This is my 86th post for #threetunetuesday, which @ablaze started.
I hope what I'm sharing is enjoyable for others, too, because then it makes sense.
