Three Tune Tuesday - Beach Mood

Hello, music lovers! 🎵

It's a Tuesday, so it's time for #threetunetuesday! And a chance to share something I'm listening to.

Since it's deep into summer and I'm back at the seaside, I'd like to share some summer tunes echoing from my new JBL Flix6 Bluetooth speaker. I got it for just over €100, and let me tell you, it's worth every penny.
I previously had, in fact, I still have, one Cambridge Audio speaker, which was much more expensive a couple of years ago, but against this, it can hide in a mouse hole.

And what is this, for me, a summer atmosphere? More precisely - beach atmosphere?

I have selected a few songs from different genres and eras that I am confident illustrate the 'beach' mood well.

Undoubtedly, the first thing that comes to mind is California.

The Beach Boys - California Girls

This is a remastered version of the 2001 album The Very Best Of The Beach Boys. Otherwise, this song is a venerable 59 years old, having been released on the album Summer Days (And Summer Nights) in 1965, and it still fits well into that hot summer mood.

Let's go a little bit to Europe.

Katrina And The Waves - Walking On Sunshine

A band from Cambridge, UK, best known for this 1985 song from their debut album. The song became a global hit. They are also famous for winning the 1997 UK Eurosong competition with the song Love Shine A Light. They came second.

I also like surf music on the beach in summer. The band Balthvs is from Colombia, I discovered them recently, they play great surf psychedelics, this is a cover of two surf classics, and they sound very summery!
