Šumski - Vinodol
Šumski is a cult Croatian alternative rock band from Zagreb. They started playing in 1991 and have released six albums.
They create a “sound without boundaries” that defies standard genres and regularly tour throughout Europe.
Their sound blends krautrock, world music, psychedelia, new wave, avant-garde pop, noise, cartoon and film music, and Dadaist collages.
They draw inspiration from bands such as Can, Amon Düül, Faust, Blurt, and Captain Beefheart, as well as the films of Jacques Tati and the books of Blaise Cendrars.
The song “Vinodol” is from their last album, Kolobari, which was released in 2022.

A cult band, in this context, is one that doesn't necessarily enjoy massive mainstream success or consistent radio hits but has a small, extremely devoted fan base.
