Tricky - Out of Place (feat. Marta Złakowska)

Tricky is a British musician, producer, vocalist, and rapper, and a pioneer of the trip-hop genre. He began his career in the 1980s and has released 14 albums to date. In July, after a six-year hiatus, his fifteenth album, 'Different When It’s Silent', will be released.
The song “Out of Place” is the first single from the upcoming album, featuring Polish singer Marta Złakowska. It’s an energetic, pulsating track with rock elements, orchestral strings, and powerful beats, where his signature rough, deep vocals blend with Marta’s softer, more melodic vocals.

Angine de Poitrine – Sherpa | A DADA Film

Angine de Poitrine is a Canadian experimental rock duo from Saguenay that operates anonymously. They’ve been playing since 2019 and have released two albums. They always perform wearing handmade papier-mâché masks, polka-dot outfits, and strange headgear. I first heard about them last year while watching a live recording from the KEXP festival in Rennes, after which they went viral and are now on world tours.
The song “Sherpa” is actually from their 2024 first album, but a week ago, a surreal video was released on YouTube, featuring elements of Dadaism and strobe effects that show them in their true light. It’s an energetic, hypnotic track with microtonal guitars, complex polyrhythms, powerful drums, and repetitive, almost mantra-like vocals.

DEEP PURPLE – ARROGANT BOY (Official Video)

Hard rock legends Deep Purple, who have been performing since way back in 1968 (I was just a little kid back then), are back in the spotlight after five years and have announced their new album, 'SPLAT!', set for release in July.
The song “Arrogant Boy” is the first single from the upcoming album and celebrates outsiders who defy the system and taunt the elite. A classic Deep Purple track, a fresh and energetic song in the spirit of the old school.

The Bures Band - Avon Valley (Live on KEXP)

The Bures Band is an Australian band from Perth that formed in 2022. They’re a new name to me. So far, they’ve released two albums. Folk-rock, Americana, and country heavily influence their sound. They won me over with the exceptional Grateful Dead vibe in this track.
Psychedelic and nostalgically melancholic guitar harmonies, a sunny groove, and jam elements. It’s hard to ask for more than that.

Barth Sky - Shake Your Bones

Barth Sky is a fresh French band from Lyon. Their sound is heavily influenced by 80s and 90s hard and glam rock. They’ve been playing since 2024, and their live performances have quickly made them popular across France, Spain, and Europe. So far, they’ve released four singles; they don’t have an album yet, but they’re planning one for this year.
“Shake Your Bones” is their latest single, released five days ago. It’s a fun and provocative track about letting loose, dancing, and living life to the fullest. I’ll be keeping an eye on them—I’m curious to see how high up the musical ladder they’ll climb.

Daði Freyr - I'm Out and I Wanna Go Home

Daði Freyr is an Icelandic singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Reykjavík. He has been performing since 2012 and has released three albums to date, the latest, 'Too Much Not Enough', released last week. I hadn’t heard of him before.
The song “I’m Out and I Wanna Go Home” is a single from his latest album. It’s a cheerful, danceable synth-pop track with funky elements, a catchy groove, and a melancholic undertone.

Sharp Class - Faith In The Brakes

Sharp Class is a British trio from Nottingham that has been active since 2020 and has released two albums to date. Their sound is a mix of power-pop, punk, Britpop, soul, and mod revival elements—energetic and melodic, with British humor and realistic lyrics. They are considered one of the leading bands in the fresh mod revival wave.
The song "Faith In The Brakes" is the lead single from their third album of the same name, set for release this summer.

Parov Stelar - Black Lilies (Official Video)

Parov Stelar, or Marcus Füreder, hails from Linz, Austria. He is a producer, DJ, composer, and visual artist. He has been performing since 2004 and has released ten albums to date. He is considered a pioneer of electro swing—a genre that blends vintage jazz, swing, and blues with modern electronic beats.
The song "Black Lilies" was commissioned for the Eurovision Grand Finale 2026, which will take place tomorrow, May 16, 2026, as an interval act (not competing), and will be performed during the voting.
