Acid Row - Hot Rod Super Soul

Acid Row is a trio from Prague, Czechia. Formed in 2011 and having so far released a few singles, a few EPs, and three albums, the latest being 'Poisoned Mind' last March.

Stoner rock with punk energy, dark and deep doom guitar riffs, noise rock, and grunge influences.

They regularly cruise European underground clubs. Performances are sharp, noisy, and energetic with influences from Metallica or Black Sabbath.

The song Hot Rod Super Soul is from their second album, 2022's Afterglow.

This video is part of a performance at the Rock Klub MKNŽ in Ilirska Bistrica, Slovenia, on 3.7.2025.

They're great! I always enjoy it when you share these bands and venues. I haven't been to shows like these in years. I don't think they exist in Caracas anymore. Latin American music has changed a lot here, so thanks for sharing it with us my friend! ✌️

I've seen and recorded quite a few underground rock bands from South America, but I don't remember any from Venezuela or Caracas coming here.

It's tough to get close to the real sound with an additional microphone for the phone, and I don't think there's a better one on the market for noisy halls (Zoom Am7). Still doesn't capture well.
If you have a minute to listen to the original of this song, you'll immediately understand/hear the difference.
