Hola, comunidad, en esta semana 37 de Vibes estamos invitados a compartir aquella maravillosa música de los años 30 y 40. Son muchas las opciones posibles porque esos fueron 20 años de grandes producciones musicales en las cuales las hermosas melodías eran acompañadas por letras pletóricas de profundos contenidos.

Me decidí al final por un tema sumamente romántico titulado "Júrame" que conocí en la voz de Libertad Lamarque aunque años después Julio Iglesias le hizo una versión muy exitosa para la época. Aunque Libertad Lamarque la grabó en la década de los 50, antes , en 1927 conenzó a darla a conocer José Mojica, el exitoso cantante que le dió la espalda a la fama para pasar el resto de su vida sirviéndole a Dios como sacerdote de la iglesia católica.

"Júrame" se mantiene sonando por varias décadas, con modificaciones, actualizaciones, versiones diferentes y llega a nuestros días incólume, sin perder su vigencia. Una canción profundamente romántica y el amor nunca pasa de moda

Hello community, in this 37th week of Vibes, we're invited to share the wonderful music of the 1930s and 1940s. There are many possible options because those were 20 years of great musical productions in which beautiful melodies were accompanied by lyrics full of profound meaning.

In the end, I decided on an extremely romantic song titled "Júrame," which I first heard sung by Libertad Lamarque, although years later Julio Iglesias made a very successful version of it at the time. Although Libertad Lamarque recorded it in the 1950s, it was first released by José Mojica, the successful singer who turned his back on fame to spend the rest of his life serving God as a priest of the Catholic Church.

"Júrame" (Swear me) has remained popular for several decades, with modifications, updates, and different versions, and it has survived to this day, unscathed, without losing its relevance. A deeply romantic song, and love never goes out of style.
