En esta semana 296 de Hive Open Mic, cuya temática es "Volveré", les traigo la canción "Hoy" del cantautor venezolano Edgar Alexander.
Viendo la temática de esta semana que es "I will return" (Vólveré) se vinieron a la mente varias canciones muy conocidas que tocan ese tema, y mientras estaba decidiendo cuál grabar, mi hijo @luisfe, entró cantando "Hoy sonríe mi corazón..." y cuando llegó a la parte de "volveré..." decidí grabar "Hoy" por ser poco conocida, por merecer ser recordada y porque la connotación de su "Volveré" es muy distinto al de las otras canciones.
Les diré que de principio a fin la letra es alegre y la música triste.

Con su letra un poco contradictoria esta canción llama la atención.
Aún no ha terminado de decir que hoy está donde quiso estar cuando ya afirma que se encuentra comenzando otra vez. Eso significa que apenas está al inicio del camino que le llevará donde quiere estar.
Ya hay contradicción en una letra alegre que nos llega usando el vehículo de una melodía triste y aparece está segunda contradicción. Sin embargo, es una de mis canciones preferidas de las que conozco de Edgar Alexander.
Tiene también partes en la letra muy motivadoras:
Por ejemplo, cuando dice "Volveré de nuevo a intentar, está vez con más fuerzas que ayer". Es un estímulo a la perseverancia, al no darse por vencido a las primeras de cambio sino a intentar de nuevo con más fuerzas lo que no logramos ayer.

Ok. A mí me gusta como lo hace @sayury, siempre diferente al original. Por mi parte también trato de hacer versiones diferentes de la original, puede que cambie el ritmo o el tono, siempre les hago alguna variación. Me gusta trabajar las canciones de esa forma 😉, hacer mi propia versión y no una copia del cantante original. Es interesante - y gratificante - trabajar de esa forma. Aunque más que todo comparto mis canciones originales.
Sí, es cierto, nunca te he oído cantando canciones de otros. Y sí, me gusta cuando alguien me dice "Hiciste tuya es canción" y se que se refiere a que le puse mi "sello personal" al tocarla y cantarla en forma creativa y no como una simple copia.
Ah, no he tenido la oportunidad de escuchar al hermano de Gabo. Pero me gustaría oírlo. Yo al único que puedo imitar - y me sale igualito - es hablar como Kiko el del Chavo 😄 Pero musicalmente hablando, siempre canto distinto al original.

Me imagino que debe ser emocionante cantar esta canción y sentir la emoción que transmite. La letra es bastante contradictoria, como tú misma lo mencionas, pero eso es lo que la hace tan interesante y profunda. La forma en que la canción combina una letra alegre con una melodía triste es un contraste que llama la atención y te hace reflexionar.
