Hive Music Festival Week 207 Round 3 "Romance" Cover by @sayury

Hello, community. I wish total well-being for every member—may you enjoy everything the present has to offer, free from the anchors of resentment regarding the bad parts of the past, free from the anchors of nostalgia for the good parts of the past, and free from anxiety about the future, which is an uncertain time. I wish you health, financial freedom, and an ever-present sense of love.
And love is the theme of the song I’m sharing with you this week. It is titled "Romance"; the lyrics were written by Manuel Graterol Santander (known as Graterolacho), and the music was composed by Rodrigo Troconis.
Not everyone realizes that the person who writes a song's lyrics is called the "author" (or lyricist), while the person who creates the music is called the "composer."
It is common to find songs like this one, created by two different people. However, there are also many songs where both the lyrics and the music were created by the same person.
When an artist creates the piece and also performs it as a vocalist, they are known as a "singer-songwriter." There is a group of talented, privileged individuals who add yet another layer: accompanying themselves on a musical instrument while singing the songs they wrote (both lyrics and music). That is—as we say here in Venezuela—the absolute pinnacle, the best of the best. We have several musicians with these qualities right here on our platform. Several come to mind, but for fear of leaving anyone out, I prefer not to name them.
I first heard this song when I was eight years old, sung by the sweet and incomparable voice of María Teresa Chacín. I highly recommend looking up her music on YouTube; it is well worth listening to.
The song "Romance" speaks of love as something mysterious and inexplicable, using simple details from the countryside as imagery. The lyrics are very poetic... I particularly love the phrase "my guitar, up all night, with twenty moons on its back."
