Sup guys? It's been quite a while since I share my #threetunetuesday playlist for the contest hosted by ablaze. Time has flown very fast and before we know it, it is already already September and only four months left before the year ends so for my list, I would like to share 3 songs for my September playlist.

A Lonely September- Plain White T's

This is a sad song and was very relatable for many people. Love is a very complex emotion that we can't control. We can't just choose the person to fall in love and once we fell in love, it's really hard to stop it as the feelings just grows stronger. At the same time, we can't really know if our love will be returned and even if it is returned, we do not know how long it will last. For some reason, the singer implies that for whatever reason, his relationship feels apart even if both love each other and the more he tries to forget about her but the more it persist and when September starts, he starts to feel alone for Christmas was close and he remember more of their time together.

September Gurls- Big Star

This song was quite an old one but still hold up as the song that became the blueprint for alternative music so I'm really glad when they re-released the song with a lyric video. It was a tribute for the song California Girls by the Beach Boys which is a song to appreciate women across the world and wished they all lived in California though the song does not really hold a meaning to it but it still get a lot of cover from other bands including The Bangles.

Wake Me Up When September Ends- Greenday

This song has become a source of a lot of memes but without other's knowledge, this song holds a much personal meaning for the band as it was made by their vocalist Billie Joe Armstrong to honor his father who died when he was 10 due to cancer on on September 10th, 1982 and this tragedy has caused him to lock himself in his room, saying to his mom to "Wake me up when September ends". On the other hand, the music video accompanied by the song tells a different story with a couple that promised to be together but brakes up due to a conflict even if the intention was good but I guess it somehow fits with the song them of loss and it feels like a short film.

And that was it for this week's #threetunetuesday post. Thank you very much if you made it till the end and you can tell me which song have you liked or was something that you never heard.

See you until next time!

I really enjoyed these, and I liked the theme of the songs. Green Day is almost always a great choice, too, and always fun to listen to.
