¡Hola, Comunidad de Hive! Hoy les comparto la ilustración más reciente de mi proyecto URBANITO. En esta ocasión, caractericé al personaje como Héctor "El Father", icónico artista del reggaeton hoy en día retirado, homenajeando la vestimenta y pose en la portada de su álbum "The Bad Boy". A continuación les muestro el proceso que seguí para dibujarlo.

Hello, Hive Community! Today I share with you the most recent illustration of my URBANITO project. This time, I characterized the character as Hector "El Father", iconic reggaeton artist now retired, paying homage to the outfit and pose on the cover of his album "The Bad Boy". Below I show you the process I followed to draw him.

El primer paso fue hacer un boceto del personaje en un pedazo de papel con un lápiz 4H.

The first step was to sketch the character on a piece of paper with a 4H pencil.

Lo siguiente fue entintarlo, usando un marcador grueso para las líneas externas y las zonas oscuras y un marcador más fino para ciertos detalles.

The next step was to ink it, using a thick marker for the outer lines and dark areas and a thinner marker for certain details.

Lo último fue pasar la imagen anterior por la opción Umbral de Photoshop CS6, digitalizando el dibujo y separando mejor el blanco y negro.

The last step was to run the previous image through the Threshold option in Photoshop CS6, digitizing the drawing and separating the black and white better.
