El Tri // Monomad Challenge

El Tri, a Mexican rock band led by Alex Lora, has a very distinctive style. As far back as the ’90s, I’d heard a few songs that a friend in college had recorded on a cassette. Over the years, I managed to get my hands on a few albums, and to my delight, a few years ago I was able to attend a concert. It was worth arriving many hours before it started so I could get close enough to not only enjoy the music but also take these photos.
