Meet//Samuel My introductory post..

Hello, my names are Stephen Samuel Abapyan, popularly known as Samzy. It makes me feel more motivated anytime my friends call me with my nickname because it gives me more moral. since my senior secondary, whenever I'm introducing myself to my junior once, I always want them to call me by my nickname. I feel more joy whenever they use it.

In my early sixteen, I started learning how to sing and dance. And I am not that good at singing but I believe one day I will be perfect. So I started to put in more effort and I also love listening to people when singing. I have joy for music in an instant if I'm sleepy, I used to play music till day break.

My uncle introduced me to one of his Eggon cultural songs to dance and do my very best.He congratulated me saying that I'm one of the best.

Many people also said that I am good at dancing and why I'm avoiding dancing in public. In reality, I am too shy and find it difficult to go outside.
‎However I continue to learn how to sing and dance

‎I love making friends because, it's important to have someone whom you value or trust so that you can be able to share your problems with. and have peace of mind.

So many friends come and go because of a little problem. But one thing about me is consistency, saying the truth and avoiding faking.

My hobbies are singing and dancing. I started dancing during our every final term In school and every end of the year festival. I also wanted to learn more and gain more skills. I used to sing and record it on voloco. I Keep them for myself because I don't want people to judge me. One day, my friend @David was transferring songs from my phone to his own and mark plus my own song. When he listened to the song he said this is Samzy voice. he told me he loves the song and advised me to continue. I Was so excited, but I still don't focus on music because I have so many priorities.

Right now, I'm no longer ashamed of singing and dancing again. Instead I love it more than I did before. singing now gives me more confidence and is my daily hobby.

This is the main purpose I want to join Hive. I have a passion for singing and dancing and I want to share my daily experiences with my fellow friends. Maybe some of them will find it comforting. I also want to learn how to sing from other hive communities.

Singing and dancing is not that simple because it deals with time and dedication, anytime I translate songs from French to English and I sing it, I feel like I am the composer. There's nothing like being ashamed or feelings like someone is going to judge me. Just me singing and recording it play them publicly. I know some time I used to sing offkey but I keep on dedicating my time to bring out the best from myself. I sing based on my own knowledge and experience. What I also love about singing is that it makes me happy and connects me with the holy Spirit and I'm so excited when people play my song.

Right now, I am studying at Nasarawa State University Keffi, a department of art education. Studying French Education. I chose this course because it's the second language in ECOWAS and also the second official language in Nigeria. I have loved the subject since I was sixteen and I know studying French is a little bit difficult but I believe with God all things are possible. And right now I am in 300 level. By the grace of God in the next two years, I will graduate.

‎It changed my mentality from childhood to adulthood. It makes me believe in myself. It also helps me how to be unique and to talk with people in a polite way. because of that, my endurance or tolerance grew much more.

Understanding some people and what they are going through helps us become better persons. As they always say, kindness costs nothing. The same true with understanding because sometimes people carry problems they never tell anyone. That is why they may act differently in some way.

That is the main reason why I chose my course and keep on pushing it.

I got to know about Hive from my cousin's brother @ov01. He is always busy with singing. So I asked him what he was doing. He explained Hive to me and I found it very interesting because it was something that will develop and help my music style. That is why I chose to give it a try.

Aside from that, we had an orientation led by @ovey10. He explained to us clearly how things work in Hive and guided us about things that we need to understand as a beginner. He is very friendly and he made the orientation fun and easy to follow. It didn't feel boring because the way he explained made it simple for us to grasp. Thanks to him. it made me even more excited to be part of Hive.

I will do my best to be active and consistent. I want to share my stories, thoughts, and even small experiences in a proper way because I believe that every post can be meaningful to someone. I will treat it as a privilege and not just something to pass time with. For me, Hive would be a great opportunity to express myself freely, connect with other people who also love singing and dancing, and at the same time improve my skills.

I know that joining a community like this also comes with responsibility, so I will do my best to respect the platform and the people in it. I also want to learn from others, be inspired by their works, and hopefully inspire them too with mine.

To end my introduction, I want to say that I still remain Samzy. I am a student, a gospel singer. Singing has helped me through many challenges, and I want to use Hive to continue sharing my thoughts and experiences. I hope that my music can inspire and connect with others, just as singing has always inspired me.
