hello friends welcome back to the #openmic event and welcome back to my blog @samuelstifen. keep up the spirit to work and create beautiful things for our surroundings and I hope you also enjoy my performance.

hive open mic week 253 themed "dear diary". writing is something fun and very exciting and if we like writing of course we will fill in our lives in our diary. be it about our lives, love, and our families.

dear diary is like we are telling a story to the book in front of us, talking about our days which may be sad or happy. when I was in junior high school I always wrote in my diary about my life, about my worries about my future, and my love after breaking up, my diary is like a witness to my feelings in my notes in that book. my old diary I haven't seen for a long time after I moved house and maybe I also miss the contents of the notes and want to go back to that time hehehe.

open mic week 253 I brought a song titled "puisi"(poetry) from the band jikustik. jikustik is an Indonesian band formed in 1996. This band is still actively pursuing a career but this year I have rarely seen this band in concert in several cities. But for me this band is a pop genre band that is very pleasant to listen to, I also like some of their songs. and I hope you like the song I brought.

The song I brought tells the story of someone who has broken up with his ex-lover, and hopes to always want to come back and live his days like before, his love is so great that he hopes that the opportunity will come back and remember things about him.

in the lyrics of this song he misses their habit of singing together, writing things they do, and sharing those moments together, maybe this song is a little in accordance with the theme, I hope you like and enjoy it.

Maybe that's all I can say about the theme and song that I brought. Thank you also to my friends who always support me in playing music and thank you also to the team that organized this event.
