Hello friends of the #openmic community, I'm @samuelstifen. Welcome back to everyone participating in this Open Mic Hive event. Hopefully, our performances can bring warmth to everyone, including mine. Today marks the 212 week of the Open Mic event.

For Hive Open Mic 212, the theme is "Power," chosen by: @albertocoachbl.one of the most talented musicians in this community and other music communities. The theme he selected is excellent and intriguing. Let's aim for an extraordinary presentation for this week's theme.

Power has various meanings depending on the context. In general, it refers to a person's ability or capacity to effectively and successfully accomplish tasks. However, power can also encompass broader concepts such as physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social power. It is often associated with courage, fortitude, justice, and success.

Amidst all forms of power, the power bestowed upon us by God enables us to live well, be brave, and face life's challenges. In many religions, God-given inner power is considered a gift that helps individuals endure and thrive in the face of trials and changes in life.

In today's world, where hedonism, individualism, and instant success often take precedence, many forget to rely on God's intervention. It's common for people to depend on their own power and intelligence rather than submitting to God's will. However, relying on God's power is essential for overcoming life's problems, as His unmatched power is the strongest in the world.

This week, I presented a spiritual song titled BejanaMu. "your vessel" by the Indonesian band JPPC Worship, released in 2013.

The song holds deep meaning about power and calm found in God's presence. It invites listeners to surrender everything to Him and rely on Him for power and hope in life.

As believers, we acknowledge that God's power is the strongest in the world, surpassing all other powers. While we possess physical, mental, and emotional power, we must not forget to seek power through prayer. May this presentation strengthen us all and keep us enthusiastic about music and other endeavors.
