La frustración no cumple sueños

¡Hola, comunidad de Hive Music! Es un gusto saludarlos nuevamente a todos por acá. Como siempre, es un placer enorme poder compartir un poco de lo que vivo día a día como músico y como instructor.

Como les explico en el video que acompaña este post, hoy he querido hacer algo diferente para todos ustedes. No vengo a hablarles de técnica complicada, ni de teoría musical profunda que a veces nos rompe la cabeza.

Hoy vengo a hablar de algo mucho más humano y necesario en nuestra carrera: la motivación. Esa chispa que nos mueve a sentarnos frente al instrumento incluso cuando el día no ha sido el mejor de todos.

Si hoy te sientes desmotivado o sientes que ya no tienes fuerzas para seguir practicando, quiero decirte algo importante. Sé perfectamente que el camino del músico no siempre es una línea recta llena de éxitos y aplausos.

Hay días en los que el instrumento se siente más pesado de lo normal, donde los dedos no responden y la creatividad parece haberse agotado. Es en esos momentos de frustración cuando más necesitamos recordar por qué empezamos.

Pero recuerda siempre: no estás solo. A veces el silencio nos hace creer que somos los únicos pasando por esto, pero la realidad es que todos hemos sentido esas ganas de tirar la toalla en algún momento de nuestro aprendizaje.

Nosotros, como compañeros músicos, queremos verte crecer y alcanzar todas las metas que te has propuesto. En Hive Music no solo compartimos notas y acordes, compartimos sueños, procesos y esa pasión que nos une como familia.

Queremos que encuentres de nuevo esa chispa que te hizo enamorarte de la música por primera vez. Estamos aquí para lo que necesites, para escucharte y para apoyarnos mutuamente en este lenguaje universal que tanto amamos.

No te rindas, porque tu talento es valioso y tu progreso, por pequeño que parezca hoy, importa muchísimo. ¡Mucho ánimo, ponle corazón a la práctica y nos vemos muy pronto para seguir creando arte juntos!

Hello, Hive Music community! It is a pleasure to greet you all again around here. As always, it is a huge pleasure to be able to share a bit of what I live day to day as a musician and as an instructor.

As I explain in the video accompanying this post, today I wanted to do something different for all of you. I am not here to talk about complicated technique, or deep music theory that sometimes breaks our heads.

Today I come to talk about something much more human and necessary in our career: motivation. That spark that moves us to sit in front of the instrument even when the day has not been the best of all.

If today you feel unmotivated or feel like you no longer have the strength to keep practicing, I want to tell you something important. I know perfectly well that a musician's journey is not always a straight line full of successes and applause.

There are days when the instrument feels heavier than usual, where the fingers do not respond and creativity seems to have dried up. It is in those moments of frustration when we most need to remember why we started.

But always remember: you are not alone. Sometimes silence makes us believe that we are the ones going through this, but the reality is that we have all felt that desire to throw in the towel at some point in our learning.

As fellow musicians, we want to see you grow and achieve all the goals you have set for yourself. At Hive Music we don't just share notes and chords, we share dreams, processes, and that passion that unites us as a family.

We want you to find that spark again—the one that made you fall in love with music in the first place. We are here for whatever you need, to listen to you, and to support each other in this universal language that we love so much.

Do not give up, because your talent is valuable and your progress, however small it may seem today, matters a lot. Keep your chin up, put your heart into your practice, and I'll see you very soon to keep creating art together!
