Hey, it's @sampraise77 here for the Vibes web3 music contest, week 39. I'm doing a cover of I Desire by Pastor Chingtok Ishaku. It's a tune that really speaks to the heart, about how nothing and no one can truly make you happy except for Jesus.

The main idea is that you want nothing and no one but God. It puts you in a spot where you're totally giving yourself over to Christ. The lyrics are simple but hit you hard. Lines like No one else but You can satisfy kind of remind you that God's the only one who can actually fill you up. Then there's No one else but You can change my life, which is all about how Christ changes you. And No one else but You can give me hope for tomorrow just makes me feel secure that He's in control.

The song then moves into The One I Love, and it’s like things get super personal. It goes from just wanting Him to saying, I live for the One I love, I sing to the One I love. It turns loving Him into something you actively do.

For me, this song is a blessing . It helps me get my head straight and put Jesus first. Every time I sing it, it's like my soul remembers what’s important. It gets me closer to God, makes me want to worship more, and gives me this peace knowing my hope is safe with Him. It's easy to sing, whether you're with a group or just by yourself, and it always brings me back to the same thing—Jesus is enough.

With so much going on in the world, I Desire is a cool reminder to look for Christ before everything else. It keeps me focused on His love and what I'm here to do, so it's more than just a song. It's like a prayer and how I want to live my life.
