Liberation is one of the toughest thing that come with strong opposition from those that are holding ones into captivity. And when it comes, it used to come in the way of revolution. This we have seen on so many occasions both personally or collectively.
I could remember when we were in the secondary, our government teacher back then told us that when the nationalist were try to gain independence from the colonial masters, she said it's not easy. Mrs Dada said, though, some country got theirs on a platter of gold, but that the majority of the countries colonized back then got it with their blood and sweat.
Not only that, one thing I have got to know about freedom is that, there's always an individual to lead the revolution. This has always been so right from the ages as can be seen in the scripture when God raised Moses for the liberation of the Israelites.
Also, we have seen it here in Africa when a man liberated his people in the south Africa from apartheid. Nelson Mandela was the man whom God used to liberate his people back then. This didn't really come on a platter of gold, the man was threatened and imprisoned. But with his strong will and determination, he was able to free and liberate his people.
So, if I should begin to count those people that have liberated their people, time would not even permit me to do so. Though, there's always a stiff opposition from among their people, but notwithstanding, they have always done what they were best known for, which is freedom fighting.
In the spirit of revolution and fighting for liberation comes a man, a captain who came on board not quite long to liberate his people from the tyrannical rule of the power that be of the world. His name is Captain IBRAHIM TRAORE. A military man whose mission is to free his country Burkina Faso from the external rule of the world power. Though, he has been fighting for his people and people have been hailing his act of bravery, but we still have some powerful people threatening him and even instigating his people against him.

So, in the face of what could be seen as persecution and threatening, people have been coming out to pledge their support for him, amongst those people are musicians such as R Kelly who from his prison abode sang a song to pledge his support for the captain and the people of Burkina Faso. In his song, he prayed for the protection of the Captain from external and internal attacks and for the wellbeing of the people of Burkina Faso.

Also, another renown singer Akon, sang in solidarity for the captain and the people of Burkina Faso, he too sang to pray for the captain and his people. This is the power of song and one thing I have learnt from this whole saga is that, fighting for freedom is not a cup of tea and that one have to be strong while fighting for freedom. Aside that, doing good will always attract people's conscience to us. Let's continue to do good.
