Persecution a game of destruction

Greetings!

In this life, there will be ups and downs and this is what many of us are passing through and will still pass through no matter how good or nice you are, it will still come your way.

These ups and downs have been in existence from the time immemorial and it's mostly in the form of persecution. Though, atimes people are being persecuted for what they do not, such is life.

We've seen people being persecuted for being good to others or doing the right thing in society just to shut them up. A typical example of such is Jesus Christ who was persecuted for doing the right thing among his people. In his time, the Pharisees were always against him and there's nothing he did that would not even bring him criticism and persecution.

Also, in the same holy bible, there's a man called Saul, a persecutor. This man was best known for persecuting the disciples of christ. Though, he later met the Lord and he later changed from his old ways to living a new life in Christ, but at the end, he later became an apostle.

All these were from the biblical story, but even in recent times, we have also seen people being persecuted for doing the right thing by fighting for their people. People like Nelson Mandela and Gandhi of India stood for their people and were persecuted. What this is telling us is that persecution is real and everywhere.

So, according to the song by Rkelly ft Rick Ross, the singer in his song was telling us that persecution is real and that he's been persecuted and sent to jail with lies being peddled around him and falsely accused. He said though he was being lied against and judged wrongly, he said he would still be himself and not swayed by the persecution.

So, like I said earlier, persecution is everywhere and we must understand that. But when it comes, we should be strong and also imbibe the characters of those who have been persecuted before now. We should be strong and not deterred nor distracted by the persecutors.

Thanks for reading.
