Bayside, I Am The Avalanche, and Koyo playing at the Showbox in Seattle!
Tuesday night was in Downtown Seattle.
At the venue "The Showbox" just down the street from Pike Place Market.
The headliners of the night were Bayside, a rock band from New York City.
The venue is quite literally a box on the inside. This historical Seattle landmark is a large squarish room with plenty of floor space and bar & table space There is a neat little two-level bar beneath it taking up the ground floor and a lower basement level as well. It's been around since the late 1930s.
Alot of well-known groups, musicians and comedians have played here. Notable acts include: Duke Ellington, Muddy Waters, The Ramones, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Mudhoney.
The opening act was Koyo from Stony Brook, New York. They put on a great show.
The next band that played was I Am The Avalanche, their set list was posted here.
Finally, Bayside took the stage.
Before the show we arrived and walked around for a while.
We came across the Famous Gum Wall.
There was much more to this, and more than one wall. It took up a large portion of the alley way.
Don't lean on the walls.
It was a fun night out in Seattle listening to good music and drinking expensive drinks. lol
Thanks for stopping by!
