We're back at it with more Dream Pop share for ablaze 's #threetunetuesday fun. I had to miss last week on account of a relative passing through who happened to witness the recent eclipse. Also, he alleged evidence of Sasquatch, and UFOs over the Sonoma desert. Hey, we'll save that for another day...let's get into it already,

Beach House : Space Song

No intro is needed here if you've been following the Dream Pop shares of late. This song, I want to say, was featured in a film or show, getting Beach House a bit of attention. I don't know if that was needed, honestly. This is another perfect example of the genre. There is even a cool 2001 video, fan edit. I love the soaring guitars over the melody. Another easy one to gel to on that morning or afternoon commute.

Still Corners : Crying

Here's a little gem of a song from 2021. I have not heard of the band, but based on this song, I will have to check their album. I really started to appreciate right at 1:15 when the acoustic guitars kick in. It reminded of an old Beta Band song from long ago...I don't know. The sounds work I think. Another Dream Pop discovery of late for me.

Apocalypse : Cigarettes After Sex

Here is another one that caught me way off guard. It sounds like something else I've heard in the past. Maybe some Cocteau Twins, Twin Peaks...and maybe Beach House?? I don't know, but I've added to my morning commute playlist of good old Highway 61.
