The Prodigy - Narayan (Paul Infrasonic Remix) [Atmo Trap / Witch House]
Hello Dear Hivers, Hello Aliens! 👽
Today I want to share the final version of my new remix of the track Narayan from the legendary music group - The Prodigy. Antman takes the stage, raise your fist and let's begin! 🐜
YouTube:
A little background and statistics 👁🗨
One of my most popular videos on my YouTube channel is a remix of Narayan that I did in 2011, at the moment it has 123,000 views and 1,200 likes, and I am of course glad that to this day this video is gaining its 150-200 views in 48 hours are sometimes even twice as many when YouTube algorithms promote my content. This makes me think that my work was not in vain and my version of Narayan 2012 was liked by a certain circle of the community and connoisseurs of The Prodigy. As I have mentioned several times in my posts, for the first time in my life I started listening to electronic music from this musical group, to say that it captivated me with its unusualness and uniqueness would be adequate and logical, and to this day their musical masterpieces are something in the form of a standard of rave, acid and breakbeat culture, their musical works greatly influenced me when I got acquainted with electronic music and I still analyze their work with great interest, the work of which has no similar ones (with the exception of the Beastie Boys, maybe, but oh We’ll talk about them in another post when the time comes). Also, to this day I am the owner of some old CDs of this group, one book and hundreds of posters and calendars from the past, from the 90-00s, I keep these things for myself, for the soul, and it’s just cool to be the owner of an outgoing the era of that rave and that old school culture (IMHO).
About Work:
Yesterday was the anniversary of the release of the track - BGOT (Baby's Got A Tamper) which is probably the most controversial track of this musical gang, but we will talk about the Narayan track from the legendary 1997 album - The Fat Of The Land. My previous remix was made so long ago that I now doubt even to name what genre it is in, since then I just did what I like, what I feel, but my new remix is made in the genre - Atmospheric Trap and Witch House, for This is a completely new experience for me, and I always take a long time when working on such remixes, but as soon as I catch my wave, everything goes much faster, the main thing here is to find the thread and chart a course, the right course, creative and unique, in order to get a result that would be worthy of being published for listeners, I know that there are hundreds of remixers who make good remixes of The Prodigy tracks, and my goal is to become one of those whose remix will be worthy of being heard. The main emphasis of my work was to make a rather atmospheric lead instrument out of the original melody, so that it would be piercing and pronounced and at the same time soft and airy, I had to go through quite a lot of synthesizer presets to understand what I should do better my sound and I decided to do just that, in the ANA2 synth I managed to find the desired lead sound, which became the basis of my remix, then I made a deep bass which, in conjunction with the main synth, turned into something viscous and fat sounding, which is exactly what I wanted to achieve. Next, I began to work on cutting out artifacts from the vocals and setting up the bpm acappella of the track, it was very labor-intensive, but I also considered it as a mini challenge for myself, it was important to do everything carefully and not mess up, hehe. I hope I succeeded, I think it turned out not bad. Then I started working on the rhythm, I thought it would be cool to make a good and powerful trap beat, plus various interesting glitches and percussion were no exception to everything listed above, I also made some interesting effects with changing the synth parameters and bass, which I also consider to be a kind of highlight of my remix. In general, I ended up with a full-fledged remix, although the work progressed slowly, since I started work back in the winter of this year, but at times I forgot about it or simply simply didn’t have the time or inspiration to work with the remix, but I knew that I I won’t quit working on it, it’s better it will take longer than usual, but I’ll do something worthy, I thought then. And now the very moment has come when I present to you a ready-made full-fledged remix of Narayan, and I am glad that I have this opportunity, I hope that my new remix will also find its audience and then I will say for sure that I worked on this not in vain.
HUGS! 😃
Thank you for your attention, I am very glad to have the opportunity to share my creativity here and receive your feedback, I hugged everyone, I wish you a great time and see you again friends!
- P.S Perhaps now I will make my posts about music less often, since recently my power supply burned out and now my ability to make videos is limited, I will try to solve this problem as soon as possible, I simply cannot use programs that load the video card, since I now have an old power supply that does not fit, I crossed my fingers that nothing will happen since there is a risk of losing a lot. I'm in the process of resolving this issue.
