About 🎷

And so in the last post I said that my next post, i.e. this one will be about my remix of the main theme from the movie Rocky, but plans changed abruptly and Bill Conti will wait, because Mr. @castleberry reminded me about the musical band - Fleetwood Mac and their 1987 song - Little Lies from the album "Tango in the Night". To be honest I forgot about this masterpiece, but I heard it before and more than once, I remembered it because of the main melody with spacey synth, in my remix by the way I also made such sound, but about it later. To be honest I listened to this track on repeat three times and started looking for material for the remix. I took the original version of the track, not without the help of AI I split it into tracks, and left only the vocals and melody for my remix, right away I thought it would be something Indie style with an upbeat bass line like Deep House music and Synthwave, I just wanted to make it so that my remix would be also vintage and convey that time, for a second the original track is as old as me, hehehe, symbolic right?

I really wanted to liven it up with some other musical instrument, although the track itself is very melodic without it, but I decided that saxophone would not be superfluous, other instruments I just ignored at once, I chose sax because it suited the style, harmonized with the overall picture of the track, and just because I love how attractive saxophone sounds. For me it is very important that everything was kept in style when I work with the creativity of bygone years, this music has its own unique charm, its appeal is that it is sung with emotion, causes the listener nostalgia and creates a cozy ala Miami Vice, I do not know how for others but for me this music does not lose its relevance over the years, but on the contrary. I chose a fairly simple rhythmic pattern, diluted it with transitions and Fills Toms and light arches of voices for a more vivid atmosphere, everything is maintained in the classical style, Indie melody that I screwed in the synthesis Repro-5 as if from the original, I was surprised hehehe, the sound is really very close to what plays in the original composition, So I spent my Sunday evening working on a remix of this beautiful music, I really enjoyed it and I'm glad my hands got to work on this remix, I just enjoyed the process of writing it and listening to it. πŸ™πŸ˜‰

That's the story my friends, thank you all for your attention, enjoy listening, love the music because the music loves you, I guarantee it. Good luck and see you soon, hugs to all. Yo! πŸ–

That's really cool bro, thanks for the support and comment. By the way, the African American actor you sent in the Rambo gif recently passed away, too bad about him, he was a charismatic and kind man.

Yes, Carl Weathers. I was shocked to find out about his passing. He was and has always been in such great health. Rocky was one of my family's favorite franchises, mostly because of my dad, so we were all rocked by the sad news. After noticing you skipped Conti to do this remix... i felt i needed to honor him and you to motivate you for when you get back to the Rocky theme. Cheers bro
