Lonely Road Music On The Pony Express - Three Tune Tuesday

I just got back from a 5 day trip too Utah and Nevada and I traveled on some of the loneliest roads I've ever been on! One oof them was the Pony Express through the desert.

Honestly, some of them were frightening because if you broke down there is no service and no one is coming to save you.

To keep my mind at ease I listened to a lot of vocal synth/retrowave tunes. Here are 3 that kept my spirits up and they may do the same for you!

Let's start with a banger of a tune to sing to!

FM-84 - Never Stop (feat. Ollie Wride)

Add a bit of disco to the vibe!

To Live and Die in LA - Can’t Stop (feat Dana Jean Phoenix)

Rounding out with another FM-84 & Ollie Wride tune.

FM-84 - Running In The Night (feat. Ollie Wride)

These tunes and tunes like them have kept me calm and carrying on when I would have normally been questioning my sanity.

Gold Hill is next on my list of Utah mines to visit. I'll definitely be bringing along some of these tunes. In the meantime, I'll be wandering some lonely roads in the USA or Japan, yes, Japan has lonely roads too.

Here's a wild card tune that comes to you when you see things deep in the desert, late a night, camping by yourself, when they come out...

Boards of Canada - Music Is Math

Thanks for listening.

Thanks to @boxcarblue for introducing me to #TTT and @ablaze for dreaming it up.

Ya, it's very desolate, hot and dry. Fortune favors the bold!
